The following are definitions of the terminology you will encounter in the "notes" column on your booklist. Please refer to this section to better understand any annotations or special instructions related to the books listed.  

Required - The book is required by the faculty and must be purchased.

Optional - The book is offered as optional by the faculty and it is up to the student's discretion as to whether or not to purchase.

Alternative/Substitution - The book is offered as an alternative to an already listed book and is most likely a digital title (eBook or digital access code). It is up to the student's discretion as to whether or not to purchase.

No Book Listed - For additional information regarding the required academic resource, consult your course syllabus or contact your course faculty directly.    

Continuing Education Students - Course materials will be located on this booklist. Please enter the CRN of your part-time course and NOT your student number.
